I am a documentary filmmaker, freelance producer and artist based in New York. In my own documentary work, I am most interested in exploring life's pivotal moments, family identity and ephemeral issues of the mind. I became a filmmaker in order to document the stories that arise from life-changing moments, to reframe and share them with an audience and, ultimately, to make films and media that speak to the larger issues of communal experience, family and identity. My artwork, while more private, is an extension of this documentary work.
